Transcribed Bibles are most often presented by surname[s] instead of geographical location. The reason is that the Bible may not specify where that family resided. Always include the publishing information about the Bible being cited. CAUTION....Compare birth dates with Bible publication date. If the latter date is after the oldest birth date, then this is a Bible with second-hand information which could contain copying or transcription errors. Many Bible transcriptions are stored within personal and surname web sites. We suggest that researchers supplement their search for these by using:
