NOTECass Co., GA and Bartow Co., GA are the same land location in Georgia throughout Georgia's history.  Sadly, Cass Co. decided to change it's name in the mid-1800's just to confuse future genealogists.  If  you have a Bartow Co., GA ancestor, then be sure also research the earlier Cass Co. records as well; keeping in mind that they didn't move, just that the county they lived in simply changed its name.
