Page 180 The following is a particular description of the marks, natural and artificial brands, station, age and color of a certain heifer this day exhibited to us as an estray by WB Ingram to wit: Red, three years old, overbit in each ear, swallow fork in right and crop in left, bob-tailed, small white spot in front of bag, valued at $700. TJ Butt, the former guardian of the property of Albert E. and Edgar Butt, minor heirs of John G. Butt, deceased, died on the 6th of March, 1895 and there left said minor’s property situated in this county without any legal representation. The above minors having reached the age of fourteen years, have the right to choose their guardian and have chosen petitioner to represent them as their guardian. Request that he be appointed Guardian of the property of the minor heirs for the special purpose of disposing of the perishable property of said minors. Cobb, administrators of John Davenport, deceased, shows that they as administrators have done the following extra services in the interest of said estate and incurred the following expenses: 4 ½ days of work each for gathering corn and William Davenport furnished waggon and team for 3 ½ days for which they ask to be paid 60 cents a day each for each day’s work and 50 cents each day for waggon and team for hauling hogs, 75 cents to JJ Garlin’s paper for appraisement, 15 cents notes, 5 cents clerks at sale 50 cents.
