Order granted William Davis, admr. of John Woody, deceased, authorizing him to sell all the land belonging to said estate, in Union and Lumpkin counties. WJ Townson was appointed guardian of the property of the five minor children of his deceased wife, MJ Townson. Report of commissioners to assign years support to Mrs. Benj. Ledford approved and ordered to record, no objection being made, and proper citation having been issued. There being no further business, the court adjourned until first Monday in

Page 230 In consideration of the sale and distribution of the land willed by William Sullivan to Rebecca Sullivan during her life, and remainder to her children, among her said children now. We the undersigned agree and bind ourselves firmly, our heirs and assigns, to care for and support the said Rebecca Sullivan for the remainder of her life upon the terms to wit: Each of us are to keep and care for her on equal terms, except EL Sullivan is to have one sixth of all the produce grown on the land willed in the year 1896 and thereafter, DA Sullivan agrees to pay said EL Sullivan yearly, during the life of said Rebecca Sullivan, the sum of twenty dollars, said amount to be paid in grain at market value. Said parties are at all times and under all circumstances to protect said land from becoming chargeable in any way for the support or other expenses of the said Rebecca Sullivan. It is further agreed that this contract shall be held by JW Meeks, Ordinary of said county, and his successor in office, and the same shall become void at the death of the said Rebecca Sullivan. Petition of William H. England shows that Eliza England, John England and William England, aged respectively, nine, six and four years, are the children of Thomas England, deceased, and that they are entitled to receive from the estate of their grandfather, Athen England, deceased each the sum of nearly $30, and that it is necessary that a guardian be appointed.
